Partner with us!
ARP partners with school systems, health districts/departments, and community-based organizations in southwest Virginia to decrease teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection rates.
Our goal is to assist school and health districts to create sustainable, impactful, long-term sex education practices and pregnancy prevention systems. To do this, we fund and support partners to implement evidence-based sex education programs and to organize community health coalitions to optimize youth health in southwest Virginia.
We understand that establishing new programming and facilitating community change is hard work that requires collaboration and resources.
To help partners meet this challenge, our support builds on the many strengths partners bring to the table, while providing the funding, technical support, connections, and up-to-date training needed to address youth sexual health.
Our approach is to listen to partners' concerns and struggles to understand their needs and create a mutually beneficial partnership. To meet these diverse needs, we offer pilot programming options, limited online programming, coaching, and consultation as partners assess capacity, implement programming, and develop coalitions.
